Work Desks

If you are working >60%, you are being assigned a fix desk and you are very welcome to personalise it with personal items from you (photos, etc.).

If you work less, you can use the desks of colleagues who are not present because they are working from home. You can check the availability on office.renuo.ch.

We try to cluster colleagues and teams together, simply because it's handy when working together. So do whatever helps you focus, collaborate or brainstorm.

Presence at office

We like to work as a team and enjoy each other’s presence. At the same time, we value flexibility high. There is no fixed rule in regards to your presence but yes, we like to see your face 3 times at the office (considering a full time job). Of course, your days at a client count towards that, too. There is no controlling of this – it’s “just” an expectation.

Noise Pollution

Focus is important to finish tasks. We try to keep our office as silent as possible. This means:

• Book a meeting room if you have a planned meeting (see calendar resources). Please use them for phone calls as well, if possible.
• Have discussions in front of a screen in a low voice to distract those around you as less as possible
• Hold breaks and tattle in front of the coffee machine and ensure that the doors to the office (to the working area) are closed

Response Times, Availability

Take the following times as indications, and not fixed rules

• E-Mails: Answer within 24hrs. Even if it’s just “I got your mail and will get back to you until X”.
• Slack message: Answer within half a day
• Calendar invites: Answer with yes or no. Do not leave them unanswered. When creating calendar events, be careful who is really needed in a meeting.
