<aside> ⏱️ We’re an agency. Time is our currency: Our offers depend on (time) estimations, we are measured on the time spent on stuff (vs. estimations), we internally measure time spent on clients vs. internal, our invoices depend on time and so does your monthly wage. Time booking becomes a serious matter. Make sure that you frequently log your time, best whenever you switch a task. This matter is strongly connected to Redmine.
Have your hours booked by the end of the day.

To book your time, either use the function on Redmine directly.
…either use the function on Redmine directly …

… or use Tracky

Relevant reference number for your time booking is the ticket number on Redmine. Apart from tickets within client tasks, we have various tickets for internal work, too. Check out the homepage to see the internal tickets that you will use often.
If you need help from someone and it takes longer than 5-10mins, share the relevant ticket number proactively. If you are being asked for support that takes more than just a bit and you do not know where to book on, ask that person on which ticket you shall book it …
We have a best practice that, if in doubt of what to book, just coordinate and discuss with the peers involved of what you have booked. Make it transparent.
Keep in mind that comments help the PO in case of questions from the customer.
